Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church!

We end every worship service with this benediction because we believe that both life and faith are gifts from a loving God.  We cannot create our faith any more then we can create our own life.  Having thus experienced God’s love first hand we endeavor to be agents of that transforming love in our community and our world.   We are committed to grow in our understanding and experience of God’s love.  But we know that growth requires the firm foundation of God’s Word, the challenge of new ideas, and the nurturing support of other believers.  Therefore, we attempt to balance learning with service, preaching with discussion, and comfort with change.  We would invite you to share with us this journey of growth in faith which is vital to life
