Pennock Center for Counseling Staff:

 

Jody Pierce, LCSW

 

Jody is the Director of the center and has been a clinical social worker over 25 years.  In addition to administration, Jody carries a clinical caseload and provides clinical supervision to staff therapists and student interns.

   

Ben Leonard, MSW, LSW

 

Ben is a staff therapist who has a special interest and expertise in working with couples and families.  Ben also works with adults, children and adolescents, and is a Love & Logic Parenting facilitator.  Ben is a graduate of the University of Denver with a Master's in Social Work.

   

Rachel Notartomaso, MSW

 

Rachel is a staff therapist with an extensive addictions counseling background.  Rachel facilitates our Grief Support Group and sees children, adolescents, adults and couples.  Rachel is a graduate of the University of Denver with a Master's in Social Work.

   

Donna Duckman, LPC

 

Donna is a contract therapist working with the center.  Donna has many years of experience in counseling psychology, stress management and post-traumatic stress, and has special training in trauma work and EMDR.  For more on Donna see her website at mindbodycenter.net

   

Michael Altman, LPC

 

Michael is a contract therapist who is also a Certified Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado.  Michael has years of clinical experience working with adolescents and families.

   

Karyn Gibson, Administrative Assistant

 

Karyn brings warmth and energy to her job, along with extensive clerical and administrative experience.

   

Interns

 

The center provides internships for University of Denver, School of Social Work students.  While learning through training and supervision, student interns are a valuable resource for the center.

   
   
   

 

Other Services

Staff is available for Sunday school classes, workshops, parenting programs, assistance to individuals or families in crisis, consultation or training assistance.  Current program information can also be found on the MOC bulletin board in the narthex.

 

 

 

Confidentiality

The identity of and any information regarding clients seen through this program at the Pennock Center is kept confidential.  No church members, church staff or board members are privy to this information.
