"Just when you think things couldn't get any larger, or stretch

you any further, that's when the Lord will surprise you again,

with bigger blessings, bigger challenges, bigger opportunities

to do his work."

Bruce Wilkinson,

Author of The Prayer of Jabez

JOIN THE MISSION MINISTRY TEAM

The Mission Ministry Team believes we are all called to follow the Holy Spirit and be the hands of God as we seek to serve God's impoverished people in Brighton, our nation, and around the world, both financially and spiritually.

We welcome your participation at our monthly committee meetings the second Sunday of each month.  On occasion, we also hold forums on the third Sunday of the month during Sunday School hour in the Founder's Room off the narthex as we share ways you can help change the lives of people.

Organizations that we are involved with that are always in need of your volunteer support to carry out their missions are:

His Hands Ministry Food Bank

Relay for Life Cancer Walk

CASA

New Genesis (the Central Presbyterian Shelter)

Denver Inner City Parish

Brighton Housing Justice

Ugly Quilts

PeaceMaker Quilters

Zimbabwe Mission

Collection of Used Cell Phones & Chargers for Battered Women's Shelters

Heifer Project

Giving Tree

Mission Committee's goal is to continue, in whatever way possible, to aid those in poverty and to promote Christian faith.  Participation in mission projects nurtures fellowship and friendship through a common goal and enhances the vitality of our congregation.
