I am Rev. Steve Nofel. Everyone calls me Steve.
My journey of faith has many twists, turns, downslopes, and mountain trails. In constant conversation with the Lord, life has never been dull.
I was ordained a minister in 1991. I have served as associate pastor, solo pastor, and co-pastor. However, my true passion is transitional ministry.
My wife, Kim, and I have been 32 years. Kim is also a Minister of Word and Sacrament. She is the brand-new installed pastor of Elizabeth Presbyterian Church.
They have two special and incredibly talented adult sons. Chuck, a graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in mechanical engineering. He is a natural designer and builder. Chuck is a LEGO master. Matthew and his wife Savannah are newlyweds, married on January 1, 2025. They are both Olympic hopefuls in archery.
I love mysteries, American history, my family, baseball history, and sumo – not necessarily in that order.
